Then you are in luck because the Texas Christkindl Market is located right in the heart of Arlington. Near the downtown entertainment district off Randol Mill Road you will find this sprawling market place that is perfect for getting you into the Christmas spirit.
Filled with a variety of German vendors for food and gifts it’s the perfect place for spending an afternoon or evening. While closed for the season, this market will be celebrating it’s 15th anniversary for the 2026 season. If you have never been, I would highly recommend getting one of their dates on your calendar for the next year. I always enjoy visiting with my family and it truly is a great way to celebrate. The market is set up similar to what you would expect in Europe with a variety of stalls featuring local vendors. Whether you are craving some warm hot chocolate to warm you up or a tasty Bavarian pretzel for something savory, there are loads to explore at the market. In addition to the variety of European style treats vendors also included a variety of different items from Christmas ornaments to clothing and even packaged meats making it a great way to shop local and find unique gifts just in time for the holidays.
After we did some shopping and eating we took some time to relax and enjoy some of the performances on stage. It was a great way to be in the festive spirit without the hustle and bustle of traveling. We loved that this was a great family friendly activity that everyone can enjoy and with the warmer weather it was the perfect outdoor activity that was comfortable. I am already looking forward to this event next year!
