If you love supporting small businesses and visiting farmer’s market style pop ups, then you are going to love Geyer Commons. Located near downtown Mansfield off East Broad Street you will find this family friendly park that offers events, free concerts, an open cottage market, splashpad, and covered seating that is perfect for you next outing.
This park opened back in February and has been a great addition to the community. On the weekends their cottage market is open daily and offers so much to explore. Whether you are looking to divulge in specialty treats, a good book, or the perfect gift for a friend or family member the businesses here have plenty to offer. I have enjoyed coming here since they’ve opened and continue to grab quality items from the different vendors. My favorite has been Levant Bakery which offers freshly baked breads with meditterean flavors that your whole family is sure to love. I highly recommend grabbing a loaf of their sourdough bread and a specialty flavored cinnamon roll that will have you feeling warm and cozy.
I love that this place is dog friendly and they even have a bakery called R + B Dog Bakery that specializes in dog treats and goodies. My pup truly enjoyed the experience of the friendly associated at R + B who helped me to pick up the perfect treats for my girl. Based off her reaction the treats were a hit and something that I can’t wait to stock up next time I am in town.
Every business we have visited has been great with friendly and attentive business owners that truly care about their specialty craft. I love that I can support small businesses in my area and attend this community based market every weekend.
