If you love coffee and community then do I have the space for you. Located off Cedar Spring Road near uptown Dallas you will find Union. This community focused coffee house is not only serving us comforting drinks but also offers spaces for gathering, onsite events, and even a portion of their sales that support local nonprofits.

As someone who works primarily remotely, I am always on the lookout for an inviting space to take meetings or work on projects. I had passed by Union multiple times but decided to give them a try recently. I loved that the moment you walked through the door you felt welcomed by their kind staff. Their menu featured a variety of different food and drink options, whether you were looking for a caffeine kick or a sweet treat.

For my drink I decided to try an iced americano with their seasonal coconut cold foam and cinnamon. While I grabbed a classic hot latte for a friend that I was meeting for work. As the barista got to work on my order, I checked out their display case that featured tasty baked goods and their community board that highlighted a list of events and local community outreach initiatives. The atmosphere of the cafe was lively with a mix of remote workers and friends meeting for an afternoon chat.

After only a short wait my drinks were ready, and my friend had arrived for our project meetup. We both enjoyed our drinks and felt like this cafe met the mark in terms of our expectations of great tasting coffee and comfortable space that offered plenty of tables and seating options to get some work done. They even offer private spaces that you can rent out with advanced notice on their website. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area, and I look forward to returning again soon to try out more of their drink options or check out an event.
